The Full Story about
Chef Kim
Kimberly started her career by baking and designing cakes in high school for her friends. This passion evolved over the years and Kim was the go-to person for multiple birthdays and celebrations gifting her cakes for the love of baking. After much push from her friends and family, Kim pursued her culinary degree in pastry arts in Charleston, South Carolina.


Candy
Around the same time that Kim started growing her love for baking, she also began making candy. For nine years she was able to work with a candy store in Savannah, Georgia and built her candy making skills before attending culinary school.

Wedding Cakes
After earning her degree in culinary - baking and pastry, Kim decided to move to the Atlanta area and Simply Southern Confections was born. With her new company, she began baking and designing wedding cakes. Her cakes have been featured in hundreds of weddings in over twenty-five venues across North Georgia. Specializing in three tiered cakes and groom cakes, she was quickly sought after by venue owners, brides & caterers alike.
